Executive Coaching Vs. Executive Mentoring – Demo Sessions
TAKE A DIVE INTO MY WONDERFUL WORLD OF EXECUTIVE COACHING AND EXECUTIVE MENTORING
Right now, there is tremendous confusion in the market between executive coaching and executive mentoring, what they are, and when you should use which method for your executive development and growth.
I am both a professionally certified coach and certified mentor. This is why I created this series of demonstration (demo) sessions on executive coaching and executive mentoring. With this, I intend to show you exactly how I use executive coaching and executive mentoring with senior clients to help them overcome their challenges and achieve their executive development goals.
Very few coaches dare to feature their expertise and style of work in public.
I choose to embrace this challenge so you can witness my executive development style and enrich your knowledge of the two methods and make an informed choice the next time you select your mentor – or coach.
Enjoy your growth!

Definition: Executive Coaching Vs. Executive Mentoring
- You feel confused and you need clarity in your work, business, or career journey.
- You feel stuck and you need to figure out what’s going on – or what’s next.
- You need to identify the right solutions for you so you can move forward in your work, career, and life.
- You feel under pressure to make a good decision and you simply can’t make up your mind because you don’t see things clearly.
- “I am about to exit corporate, but I don’t know what to do next with my life.”
- “My boss is pushing me to grow into top leadership, but I’m not sure that’s for me.”
- “I am about to become a mom and I am freaking out.”
- “I can’t seem able to focus, prioritize, and delegate. This is taking a toll on my promotion prospects. How can I change my behavior?”
- “I feel like an impostor despite my past success. What’s going on?”
- “My current boss is a jerk. Should I leave my team or even this company?”
- “I know our company culture is toxic and our bosses close their eyes to a lot of bad things. But it pays well. Should I stay or should I go?”
- You already know what you want (e.g., a promotion, a raise, a better personal brand), but you want to get there faster.
- You could use some inspiration provided by someone who has already experienced what you’re going through now or what you’re about to go through.
- You seek a role model to grow in your career, personal communication etc.
- “Please help me develop an impactful personal brand.”
- “Teach me how journalists think; give me feedback on my planned approach to media relations and interviews.”
- “I am the new CEO and I want to improve our internal communications. Give me tips and tricks on how to do this effectively.”
- “I am about to redesign the architecture of our executive team. Give me your perspective on how to do this right.”
- “I am about to be promoted into CEO / the C-Suite. Show me how to map my new stakeholders and how to develop effective communication strategies with them.”
- “I am about to exit my company and start my own business. Help me start successfully and show me what mistakes I should avoid.”

Following a successful career as the CEO and regional risk manager of an international leasing company in Czechia and Slovakia, Lenka Glavinić Pivoňková decided to take a year-long career break to rest, restore, and refocus her leadership.
During this break, Lenka engaged in numerous executive development activities, courses, and community activities. Now, Lenka is ready for her next role.
During our executive coaching session, we explore how Lenka can leverage her understanding of and passion for company culture to secure her next senior leadership role, and also how she can become an asset for her next employer thanks to her passion for company culture.
At the end of the session, Lenka leaves with clarity and a concrete plan for how to leverage her authenticity and values to secure her next role and to take her next employer’s business to the next level through a human-centric approach.
Executive Mentoring Session
Building a vibrant personal brand as a CEO can be tricky.
On the one hand, people may be proud and endorse the CEO visibility efforts, but numerous CEOs can also face backlash and suspicions of using the company brand to make a name for themselves. This is why many CEOs decide to keep quiet and speak publicly only when absolutely necessary, which can lead to less visibility, trustworthiness, and leadership impact.
During this executive mentoring session, Lenka Glavinić Pivoňková and I explore how she can build a dynamic and impactful CEO personal brand that will serve both her career and her next employer.
At the end of our session, Lenka leaves with a strategic framework for how to think about and how to manage her personal brand, an impactful message she can use in all her communication channels, an inventory of communication channels she can use for her personal branding, and clarity on her next steps as a mindful, intentional, and engaging communicator and leader.
