The key for your company to thrive in the post-Covid era is your people’s level of emotional intelligence
Being there for others – showing our empathy and compassion in the face of disaster and suffering – is the most natural form of human reaction. However, there is a difference between reacting in a quick, one-off manner and sustainable, long term support for those in need (such as the Ukrainian refugees in Europe).
How can we help and support our fellow human beings long term without crashing mentally, emotionally or financially? What is the risk of not distinguishing between how to help in times of acute crisis and how to help in times of chronic crisis? How to nurture our resources and use healthy boundaries so we can assist those who need us long term? Last but not least – how can we genuinely help without taking away people’s freedom and dignity?
These all are questions that I intend to address in our incoming March webinar. Join me on Wednesday, March 30th, from 18.00 CEST for a 60-minute complimentary webinar to discuss sustainable, wise help.
During this webinar I will share my observations and learnings from being in a helping profession (trainer, mentor and coach) for the last 12 years. I will explain the difference between cognitive and emotional empathy and compassion, I will share a model of thinking around help and I will support you to identify your resources that you need to nurture in order to be there for those who need you both short and long term.
At the same time I will provide you with immediately actionable advice on how to take care of yourself, so you don’t get overwhelmed by helping and you don’t have to compromise on your health, relationships or your sanity during your support interventions.
The webinar is conducted on the platform Zoom; you will interact with the trainer in audio and chat-only mode. The webinar is recorded.
If there is anyone in your family, team, organization, network or community whom you think could benefit from this webinar, I would be tremendously grateful if you forwarded them the link to this invitation.
THIS 60-MINUTE WEBINAR IS COMPLIMENTARY FOR MY ONLINE COMMUNITY. REGISTER FOR FREE TO JOIN ME FOR THIS INSIGHTFUL, INSPIRING AND HIGHLY PRACTICAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITY.
